The Becker Flat
Remodel of an untouched 75-year-old, 1,200 sq2 flat in the Outer Richmond neighborhood and transforming it into a handsome mid-century modern family home.
Unique details include floor-to-ceiling tile work plus hidden flush doors. Oak floors were uncovered for the first time and sanded to reveal its honey color. Honoring its rich history, special well worn pieces from the former homeowners such as the kidney shaped desk, were kept and used as inspiration to curate a tailored and honest look.
Natural brass hardware, Danish rosewood, dark blues hues, push-button switches, and vintage inspired school house lighting add further character to this evolving flat.
